The night of 20/21 April 1943.


On this night RAF launched a force of 339 aircraft, namely 194 Lancasters, 134 Halifaxes and 11 Stirlings against Stettin. The attack was successful but 21 aircrafts was lost. 13 of these fell in the Danish area.

On the same night 86 Stirling was dispatched to attack Rostock. The attack was not very successful due to a smokescreen covering the area. 8 Stirlings were lost, six falling in the Danish area.
