Bf 110C crashed in the North Sea 9/4 1940.
The aircraft belonged to 3./ZG 76 and was coded M8+??

On its way to Stavanger, Norway the Bf 110 collided with a Bf 110 piloted by
Unteroffizier Grams and crashed into the North Sea killing Leutnant Bodo Habben
and Unteroffizier Paul Wengorz.
On 14/6 1940 the body of Paul Wengorz was found washed ashore near Høje Knolde
at Skallingen by Receiver of wrecks Jørgen Petersen. The body was taken to a
Petersens farm in Oksby and placed in a small shack and identified.
The Wehrmacht was informed and Wengorz was laid to rest in Flensburg
Friedenshügel.
Leutnant Bodo Habben have no known grave.
