He 111H-4 serial number 3282 crash landed near Brænderup 16/3 1941.


The aircraft belonged to Erg. Staff. / KG 4 and was coded 5J+AU.
T/o ? Op: Training.


The He 111 made a forced wheels up landing at “Kærsgaard” farm near Brænderup on the island of Fyn due to engine failure.
The aircraft was 25% damaged while the crew were unharmed.

A salvage crew from Fliegerhorst Værløse arrived and got the He 111 back on its wheels. Afterwards it was dismantled and taken to Brænderup, where it was loaded on a train.
