Avia 534 serial number 528 crashed near Fliegerhorst Grove 21/8 1941.


The aircraft belonged to Jagdgruppe Drontheim (Jagdfl. Schule 3) and was coded ?
T/o Grove. Op: Training.


The Avia 534 crashed in a field near Munklinde southeast of Fliegerhorst Grove belonging to Farmer Jens Nielsen.

It was a 100% loss and while crashing the engine was torn loose from the aircraft and hit and killed a horse belonging to Jens Nielsen.

The pilot bailed out of the Avia and landed safely in Gedhus plantation.
