Bv 138C-1 serial number 0031 crashed near Fliegerhorst København See 16/12 1941.


The aircraft belonged to 1. Fl. Erg. Gr. (See) Kamp and was coded CB+UK.
T/o København See. Op: Training.


The aircraft crashed during landing at the Øresund 3 miles south southeast of København due to pilot failure and was a 100% loss.
 
The crew of five died.


Navigator Oberfähnrich Joachim Lippert was laid to rest in grave 8-19-24 in Bispebjerg Cemetery in København at 22/12 at 11:00 hrs. The ceremony took place from the southern chapel. On 20/3 1944 the Wehrmacht moved his remains to Vestre Cemetery in København.

Pilot Unteroffizier Heinrich Meschede was found in the Sound near Klampenborg on 26/5 1942, and was laid to rest in grave 8-19-34 in Bispebjerg Cemetery on 29/5 1942. The ceremony took place from the the Eastern Chapel at 11:00 hrs. On 20/3-1944 his remains was moved to Vestre cemetery by the Wehrmacht.

The body of Wop Unteroffizier Otto Weber was found in the Sound late May 1942 and was laid to rest in grave 8-10-86 in Bispebjerg Cemetery on 21/5 1942. The ceremony took place from the Eastern chapel at 11:00 hrs. On 20/3-1944 the Wehrmacht moved his remains to Vestre Cemetery.

Flt.Engr. Unteroffizier Heinrich Beinkämpen was found in the Sound not far from Glumslöv Sg., Sweden on 25/5 1942. He was laid to rest in grave 8-19-89 in Bispebjerg Cemetery on 2/6. The ceremony took place from the Eastern Chapel at 11:00 hrs.  On 18/3-1944 the Wehrmacht moved his remains to Vestre cemetery.

The body of Flt.Engr. Unteroffizier Wilhelm Marcus was found washed ashore at Lundåkrabugten bay in Sweden on 9/6 1942 and was laid to rest in Barsebäck/ Helsingborg cemetery about a week later.
