Bf 110D-3 serial number 4246 emergency landed in the sea off Frederikshavn 21/5 1942.


The aircraft belonged to I./ Erg. Zerstörer Gruppe and was coded ?
T/o Op: Training.


The aircraft ditched in the sea of Kattegat off Frederikshavn and sank. It was a 100% loss and only the pilot managed to get out of the aircraft.

Wop Obergefreiter Lorenz Maul and Flt. Engr. Unteroffizier Willi Kesting both died and have no known graves.
