Fw 190A-2 serial number 5473 ditched in the sea of Skagerak 11/7 1942.


The aircraft belonged to 7./ JG 1 and was coded ?
T/o Aalborg Ost. Op: Feindflug.


When flying west of Løkken about 40 kilometres north of Bulbjerg, the aircraft suffered from engine failure and Unteroffizier Otto Werner had to ditch the aircraft in the sea of Skagerak.

Werner was lightly wounded and was taken to Marinelazarett Frederikshavn for treatment.
The Fw 190 was a 100% loss.
