Bf 109 emergency landed near Vilsbæk 25/10 1942.


The aircraft belonged to Jagdgruppe Drontheim and was coded ?
T/o Halter. Op: ?


At 14:40 hours the Bf 109 emergency landed between the villages of Holbøl and Vilsbæk on the western side of the A 10 main road due to lack of petrol.

The pilot was unharmed but apparently the aircraft had received some damage.
The pilot was picked up by personnel from Flughafenbereich Flensburg. The aircraft was dismantled and brought to Flensburg.
