Ju 52 serial number 4054 crashed at Fliegerhorst København-Kastrup 28/10 1942.


The aircraft belonged to Blindflugschule 4 and was coded BD+OH.
T/o Kastrup Op: Training.


The JU 52 crashed on the roof of Hangar B at Fliegerhorst København-Kastrup at 20:10 hours due to heavy fog.

Student pilot Oberfeldwebel Gustav Jurgan was killed at the crash while Instructor Pilot Unteroffizier Erwin Fleiner was severely wounded and taken to the hospital. He passed away on 29/10 at 07:00 hours. They were both laid to rest in København Vestre cemetery.

Wop Unteroffizier Alfred Polack, Wop Oberfeldwebel Alfred Berndt, Engineer Obergefreiter Werner Ströhl, Student Gefreiter Wolfgang Krüel and Student Gefreiter Willi Leuker were all injured.
