Ju 88A-5 serial number 4227 crashed near Fliegerhorst Aalborg West 30/11 1942.


The aircraft belonged to 12./ KG 30 and was coded ?
T/o Aalborg. Op: Training.


The aircraft crashed near Fliegerhorst Aalborg West probably due to engine failure and was a 100% loss.

Pilot Unteroffizier Paul Thorand, Navigator Gefreiter Walter Kliemesch and Engineer Unteroffizier Erich Stahn died and were laid to rest in Frederikshavn cemetery on 7/12 1942 while Wop Gefreiter Erich Wagner was injured.
