Ju 88A-4 serial number 4526 crashed at Fliegerhorst Kastrup 24/12 1942.


The aircraft belonged to Blindflugschule 4 and was coded CH+XZ
T/o Kastrup. Op: Training.


Apparently the pilot in command lost control of the aircraft during take off, and with the engines at full speed it hit a barrack in the southwest corner of the airfield at 11:00 hours.

The crew of six were injured.
They were Pilot Leutnant Max Kaiser, Pilot Unteroffizier Roderich Ölz, Engineer Unteroffizier Johann Krausehower, Engineer Obergefreiter Franz Auor, Student Leutnant Rudolf Taborsky and Student Gefreiter Josef Kosaler.

Leutnant Taborsky died from his wounds later on the same day and was laid to rest in Bispebjerg cemetery on 29/12 along with a crew that had died on 21/12. On 23/3-1944 his remains were transferred to Vestre cemetery.
