Ju 88A-4 serial number 1029 crashed during take off from Fliegerhorst Aalborg West 4/3 1943.


The aircraft belonged to 11/ KG 30 and was coded ?
T/o Aalborg West. Op: Training.


Pilot Feldwebel Willi Rabe lost control during take off and collided with Ju 88A-14 serial number 144307 and was a 100% loss.

Feldwebel Willi Rabe and Navigator Obergefreiter Wolfgang Henning both lost their lives due to fracture of the scull and were laid to rest in Frederikshavn cemetery on 9/3 1943.
 
Wop Edgar Petersen and Air gunner Unteroffizier Johannes Müller were both injured.
