JU 88A-4 serial number 2432 crashed south of Aalborg on 26/3 1943.


The aircraft belonged to 8./ KG 30 and was coded 4D+IS.
T/o Aalborg West. Op: Training.


At 15:55 hours the JU 88 touched the ground unintentionally and crashed at Støvring Hede moor.

The crew of four died in the crash and the JU 88 was a 100% loss.
Pilot Unteroffizier Karl Engelhardt, Navigator Obergefreiter Georg Altrock, Wop Unteroffizier Rudi Otto and Air gunner Obergefreiter Kurt Richter were laid to rest in Frederikshavn cemetery on 30/3 1943.
