Ju 88A-4 serial number 0319 crashed near Mørke 12/6 1943.


The aircraft belonged to 11./ KG 30 and was coded 4D+BV.
T/o Aalborg West. Op: Training.


At approximately 09:30 hours the aircraft hit the ground and burst into flames and was a 100% loss.

At first one dead body and two wounded flyers was retrieved. The two wounded flyers were taken by ambulance to the hospital in Æbeltoft where they perished later on the same day.
Later in the day yet one flyer was found underneath the wreckage.
All four flyers were laid to rest in Frederikshavn cemetery on 16/6 1943.

The flyers were Pilot Wolrad Neuschäfer, Navigator Gefreiter Werner Appel, Wop Unteroffizier Heinz Fiek and Air gunner Gefreiter Georg Schwarz.
