BV 138 serial number 310057 emergency landed in København 11/8 1943.


The aircraft belonged to 1. Erg. Kü. Fl. St.and was coded 6B+EH.
T/o København See. Op: ?


The BV 138 emergency landed in a canal next to Havnegade road near Knippelsbro in København due to engine failure and was 35% damaged.
During the landing it hit a fishing vessel from which a fisher man had to jump in the water to save his life. The fisher man was taken to the hospital.

The crew of the BV 138 was unharmed.
