Ju 88D-1 serial number 430804 crashed in the North Sea 23/8 1943.


The aircraft belonged to Wekusta 1 and was coded D7+FH.
T/o ? Op: Weather recce.


The aircraft crashed into the North Sea believed due to enemy action and was a 100% loss. The crew of four died.

Pilot Oberleutnant Karl Rapp and Navigator Reg. Rat. Otto Krug was at first recorded missing. This was later changed to dead. It is not known to this author if they have any known graves.
 
Engineer Feldwebel Otto Kuhle has no known grave while Wop Unteroffizier Alfred Schulz was found washed ashore on the Danish northwest coast on 7/10 1943 and was laid to rest in Frederikshavn cemetery on 14/10 1943.
