Bf 110G-2 serial number 6412 crashed in the North Sea 24/8 1943.
The aircraft belonged to 8./ ZG 26 and was coded 3O+FS.
T/o ? Op: Feindflug.
The Aircraft collided with Bf 110G-2 serial number 5203 coded 3U+CS north of the
Frisian islands and crashed into the North Sea with the loss of both crews. Both
aircrafts were 100% losses.
Wop Unteroffizier Hans Glasche has no known grave while Pilot Oberleutnant
Helmut Hantel was found washed ashore on Vejers beach on 30/9 and was laid to
rest in Fovrfelt cemetery in Esbjerg on 4/10 1943.
