Ju 88C-6 serial number crashed near Fliegerhorst Kastrup 18/9 1943.


The aircraft belonged to12./ NJG 3 and was coded D5+PX.
T/o Kastrup. Op: Feindflug.


The Ju 88 crashed into the Øresund 2 kilometres southwest of Fliegerhorst Kastrup when preparing to land on the night of 18/19-9.

The Pilot and the Wop were rescued while Air gunner Unteroffizier Klemens Koch drowned.
His last resting place is found in København Vestre cemetery.

The JU 88 was a 100% loss.
