Bf 109G-6 serial number 18211 emergency landed near Toftlund 9/10 1943.


The aircraft belonged to III/ JG 11 and was coded ?
T/o Oldenburg ? Op: Feindflug.


The Bf 109 emergency landed in a filed belonging to Christian Nørgaard of Birkelund southeast of Toftlund at approximately 12:00 hours due to lack of fuel.

The pilot was unharmed but the aircraft was 35% damaged.
It is reported that the landing zone had been cleared by the Luftwaffe on 15/10.
