Bf 109 emergency landed near Vejle 9/10 1943.

The aircraft belonged to ? and was coded ?
T/o ? Op: ?

The aircraft belly landed in a field belonging to Store Grundet estate 2 kilometres north of Vejle at 14:20 hours after having dropped its canopy over Grejsdalen about three kilometres west of the landing place.

It circled the area for about 10 minutes before it made an engine supported belly landing. The aircraft was more or less undamaged apart from the bended propeller blades. The pilot fired a flare and soon a German Wehrmacht soldier from the detention centre Store Grundet arrived and guarded the aircraft.

The pilot was later picked up in a Storck.
It is reported that the site had been cleared on 13/10.
