Ju 88A-5 serial number 6198 crashed near Aalborg 12/10 1943.


The aircraft belonged to 11./ KG 30 and was coded 4D+DV.
T/o Aalborg West. Op: Training.


The aircraft was seen over Aalborg ship building yard apparently with engine problems. It crashed near Sølyst church near Fliegerplatz Aalborg Ost and was engulfed in flames.

Pilot Feldwebel Erich Dodenhöft, Navigator Unteroffizier Gerhard Schmidt, Wop Unteroffizier Vincens Haas and Air gunner Obergefreiter Wilhelm Binder died and were laid to rest in Frederikshavn cemetery on 16/10 1943.
