Ju 88A-4 serial number 1066 crashed near Gravlev 27/11 1943.


The aircraft belonged to 11./ KG 30 and was coded 4D+KV.
T/o Aalborg. Op: Training.


The aircraft was seen coming from the east when it at 13:30 hours hit the trees in the hills east of Røde Mølle mill about 3 kilometres south of Gravlev. It crashed to the ground where it was engulfed in flames killing the crew of four.

Pilot Gefreiter Heinz Wünsche, Navigator Obergefreiter Otto Amme, Wop Gefreiter Herbert Schelling and Engineer Gefreiter Hans Wegner were laid to rest in Frederikshavn cemetery on 3/12 1943.
