Bf 109G-14 serial number 464372 crashed near Aalborg 29/11 1944.
The aircraft belonged to 1./ JG 102 and was coded ?
T/o Aalborg Ost. Op: Training.
The Bf 109 was seen coming on a southerly heading with the engine running rough.
Suddenly it stuck the nose down and crashed at Bejsebakken 2 kilometer southwest
of Aalborg.
The aircraft was a 100% loss and Student Pilot Oberleutnant Rudolf Schmidt lost
his life.
He was laid to rest in Frederikshavn cemetery on 12/12 1944.
