Bf 109 crashed Aalborg Ost on 25/8-1944

The aircraft belonged to 1./JG 102 and was coded ?
T/O Fliegerhorst Aaborg Ost. Op: Training

The pilot was losing control during take off and pulled the throttle back. The aircraft passed thru the airstrip border and into a field where cows were grassing. The aircraft hit a wagon and Marie Jensen who was milking a cow. The woman and the cow were killed by the propeller.

Apparently, the students of JG 102 collected 2000 kroner for Marie Jensen’s children.
