Fw 44 emergency landed near Lundby on 24/10-1940 The aircraft belonged to 3./FL.Ausb.Rgt. 22 and was coded KH+NJ. During pilot training engine problems came up and the plane was landed in a field near Lundby. The left hand landing gear broke during the landing. The plane was however less than 10 % damaged and the crew of Uffz Krause and student pilot Flieger Gerhard Marburg was unharmed.
