He 111P crashed at Aalborg West 24/4 1940.

The aircraft belonged to 7./KG 4 and was coded 5J/RH.
T/o Aalborg West. OP: Norway.

During take off the He 111 ran into an earth filled bomb crater and broke.

The crew of Pilot Ltn Gross, Navigator Oblt Jetzsche, Obergefreiter Nowotny and Uffz Franz were all wounded.

Note: Aalborg West had been bombed on the night of 23-24/4 and one of the bomb craters had apparently not been stamped enough after being filled up with earth.
