The JU W34 made a emergency landing near Fliegerhorst Esbjerg due to fog.
It
circled the area for over an hour while flares were fired from the Fliegerhorst
to help the crew finding the landing ground. It landed blindly and tore down
several electrical and telephone wirer before it ended up in a hedge and was 25%
damaged.
