Ar 96 serial number belly landed near Kjellerup 2/9 1941.


The aircraft belonged to Jagdgruppe Drontheim (Jagdfl. Schule 3) and was coded ?
T/o Grove. Op: Training.


While flying over Hingeballe the Ar 96 lost its propeller and belly landed in a field belonging to Farmer Anders Hansen, Hingeballe and was 40% damaged.
The propeller was found in a field belonging to Farmer Overby of Hingeballe.
 
The pilot was unharmed. The aircraft was dismantled and loaded on a truck and taken back to Fliegerhorst Grove.
